Surprising wear
Never had much luck with a decent mud terrain not getting worn to a nub on the tarmac. Had for over a year and look almost brand new driving rough country roads everyday

give a price like all good tyre comp do, its not hard
why cant you do the RRR, yoko, falken, toyo and the rest do the price from you so called dealers are anything from up wards of a $100 each tyre diff, in price, ...i was always told that BFG are USA made thats not true . why is that not told anymore. china.

Bfg in general
Have run three sets of ko 2 and been happy now on my second set of km3 first set got approx 30k before they got noisy and had uneven tyre wear but could have got another 10k or so out of them have replaced with a new set will try to look after a little better this time and see how i go as we are setting out on a extended trip around Aussie very soon

1 year after purchase: Best bad tyres I've owned
Bought these at a time when supply of my preferred tyre was unavailable. Did the Gibb River Road without too much issue. They performed amazing off road and handled everything I put them through. So if you're planning to abuse these tyres then they're perfect for you. But if you're planning on touring like I am they vibrate a lot, noisy when aired down and very difficult to balance. I spent months at a dozen tyre shops before going to a truck mob and getting them to add balance media. They're better but still not 100% Tyre life thus far has been good. I've travelled at least 35-40k kms on them with several thousand being off road and they have the odd nick in them as you would expect but still have at least 50-60% tread left. I don't doubt with regular rotation I wouldn't be able to see 80-100k kms out of them. I have had a minor split form in the side wall of one tyre due to "overloading" as a result of travelling offroad with the tyres aired down a little. I contacted the dealer who spoke to the rep and said I should have been running 70psi when I was offroad to prevent it even though it's common and well practised knowledge to deflate tyres to prevent punctures and damage. My previous tyre I ran no differently and never had an issue until I hit the wear markers. So for one tyre to fail I would argue to be a fault as none of the other 3 tyres had the same issue. I had tyre sensors fitted and monitored pressure and temp at all times and spent most of my time driving between 5-40km/h depending on road conditions. I've never been a fan of the bfgs and these still haven't convinced me yet. I think I could get behind them if the after-sales support was there. Especially given I bought 5 tyres at $500 a piece. For reference they are 285/70R17 fitted to a 2016 Toyota 200 series landcruiser with 4.2t gvm towing a 3500kg offroad caravan. Axle weights were 1650kg front and 2450kg rear (with van, 2150kg without)

60k miles and counting
60k miles and I think I can get another 20k. Road noise does get a little louder as they wear but not much. Will buy again 295 70r 18
