(2) - snow traction vs predecessor - 19% improvement based on commissioned third-party snow traction testing, on January 29th, 2014, vs. BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO tyre in size LT265/70R17 using the ASTM F1805 Test. Standard GM spin test was used. 2000 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup was used.
(3) - tougher sidewalls - 20% improvement based on internal sidewall splitting study results, in September, 2014, vs. BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO tire in size LT265/70R17. Sidewall splitting study results were derived from a simulated sidewall aggression testing machine (patent pending US20120245859A1).Vehicle used was 2014 Jeep Rubicon. Actual on-road results and improvement according to the tyre size may vary.
(4) - longer tread wear - 15% improvement based on internal wear studies, in April, 2014, vs. BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO tyre in size LT265/70R17. Vehicle used was 2012 Chevy Silverado HD. Actual on-road results may vary.
When replacing an Original Equipment P-Metric or Euro Metric size tyre with an LT-metric or High Flotation size tyre, the air pressures of the LT-metric / High Flotation tyre must be adjusted in order to properly carry the load of the vehicle.
