BFGoodrich is proud to be the official naming rights partner of the BFGoodrich Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) 2024. It has been a welcome return for the BFGoodrich brand, who are known and well-respected by drivers and teams alike for their passion for off-road racing.
The best of off-roading with the AORC
BFGoodrich is known for its winning history across many forms of motorsport, from right here in Australia at the Finke Desert Race, to the dunes of Dakar and the most brutal terrain in the Baja desert, even achieving success at Le Mans! BFGoodrich has conquered them all.
Since the very first event in 1981, the AORC has showcased some of the most spectacular off-road racing and events, all across Australia. Known for their long-course events, these tracks have demanded superior driver and navigator skill, plus impressive engineering, durability, and toughness – all things you also need from high-performance off-road tyres.
“To have BFGoodrich return to the AORC as the major partner is a huge result for the championship and we’re absolutely thrilled to be working with the team again in 2024,” Motorsport Australia CEO Sunil Vohra said.
“The AORC is one of Motorsport Australia’s biggest assets in off road racing, it’s fantastic to not have just secured a naming rights sponsor for the season, but to have the calibre of BFGoodrich is important,” says Vohra.
“It is truly a privilege to witness this season’s stars take on Australia’s top tracks, and strengthen our roots in the local 4x4 community.”
The 2024 AORC Calendar
From the east to the west, almost 70 teams and drivers will be taking on the 2024 championship.
Teams will start in Pooncarie, New South Wales, then head to Northern Territory to crown the Finke Desert Race champion, before heading down to South Australia’s Loveday 4x4 Adventure Park. Then teams head far north to Charters Towers for the Gold City 450 event before going west to Kalgoorlie to close out what will be an epic season of racing.

- Round 3: Loveday 400 July 26-28
- Round 4: Gold City 450 August 30-September 1
- Round 5: Kalgoorlie Desert Race October 25-27
