BFGoodrich Tire remains a technical partner of the Australian Off Road Championship

BFG three years in AORC 2013-2015

BFGoodrich Tires has confirmed that they will continue to partner the Championship in 2016. They will also again be the presenting partner of the opening round in Mildura, Victoria this weekend.

Since becoming the official tyre partner in 2013, BFGoodrich Tires teams have dominated the winner's circle with victories at all rounds contested since (13 in total), including triple Championship titles with Shannon and Ian Rentsch from Victoria. Last year's Championship victory was the eighth title for the Rentsch duo - all with BFGoodrich Tires.

Cedric Binoit, BFGoodrich Tires Australian Managing Director, said that they were excited to continue their involvement with the Championship.

"BFGoodrich Tires is a brand synonymous with extreme performance off-road, and there is no better place to demonstrate this than in the Australian Off Road Championship," said Mr Binoit.

"For us, the best test bed for our new technology is in off road racing - what we learn at the highest level of racing is used to design and develop our non-competition tyres. This is clearly seen in the transfer of developments such as Core Guard from our KR2 race tyres into the BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2.

"We are looking forward to kicking off the 2016 season in the best possible way at the BFGoodrich Tires Sunraysia 600, and wish all competitors the best of luck!

Round 1 of the 2016 AORC will be officially known as the BFGoodrich Tires Sunraysia 600 and will be held from April 8-10 at Keera Station, Lake Cullulleraine, west of the Murray River town of Mildura, Victoria.

Sunraysia Motor Sports Club President, Jason Hannig, also welcomed BFGoodrich Tires back to their event.

''We were excited by the opportunity of having such a prolific and reputable brand like BFGoodrich Tires partner with us for the 2016 Sunraysia 600. BFGoodrich Tires has been a trusted tyre manufacturer for many competitors over the years and felt with the backing of such a brand like BFGoodrich Tires it would put the club and the event in a strong position for the future," said Mr Hannig.
