BFGoodrich's debut in off-road motorsport dates back to the USA's 'baja' scene of the 1970s. Last November, the brand celebrated its 25th win on the famous Baja 1000.

BFGoodrich's first wins on the Baja 500 and Baja 1000 - the American continent's two most famous off-road competitions - came in 1977 when Franck Vessels steered a BFGoodrich Radial All-Terrain T/A-equipped pick-up to a Baja 500/Baja 1000 double whammy.

Last November, BFGoodrich notched up its 25th Baja 1000 triumph, making it the legendary event's most successful tyre brand. That win went to Andy and Scott McMillin in an 850hp Ford F-150 running on BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR tyres after a 700-mile thrash over the track trails of the Mexican peninsula. Eight BFGoodrich runners finished inside the top 10, while BFGoodrich took 14 class wins in total.

Since the 1970s, BFGoodrich tyres have secured more than 70 outright wins in the SCORE Off-Road championship.
